Freshness Burger have now introduced a tofu burger to their menu following the trend of other fast food chains which have recently stared selling veggie options. It's fairly basic and consists of basically a piece of grilled tofu in a bun with avocado and lettuce. Definitely woth a try and keep the veggie options coming.

Probably the best vegetarian restaurants has to be “It's
Vegetable” in Kinshicho. Importing most of its fare from Taiwan you can
get a whole range of vegetarian food with some witty translations ("intestine
filled with vegetarian diet" (veggie sausage), for example). All foods are 100% vegetarian
(something the owner takes great pleasure in explaining to customers) but not
all the dishes are vegan. There is a buffet all you can eat lunch which is 1500
yen. A little pricey (except for the reasonable priced beer) but definitely
worth a visit. Turn right out of the North exit of Kinshicho Station (on the
Sobu line). Walk down the street following the tracks. Cross the main street.
It's on the right.
