DID YOU KNOW that in Japan people always park their cars by backing into the space rather than parking forward first?

 This is contrary to what most people do in the UK. This means that although it easier for Japanese people to get out after they have finished shopping, it is difficult to fill the boot with the goods they have purchased at the supermarket.

A friend says the Japanese are taught to park this way while learning to drive.
