Kabukicho is a bustling entertainment district located in Shinjuku, Tokyo. The area is known for its vibrant nightlife, which includes numerous host and hostess clubs, restaurants, shops, and nightclubs. It is often referred to as the "Sleepless Town" due to its lively atmosphere that continues well into the night.

The district is home to many movie theaters, including the Tokyu Cultural Hall, the Tokyu Milano-za movie theater, the Tokyo Ice Skating Rink, and the Shinjuku Koma Theater. Kabukicho is also famous for its plethora of small bars, which are located in the Shinjuku Golden Gai area.

Kabukicho's name comes from late-1940s plans to build a theater in the area, which was never built. The area has a rich history, having been a duck sanctuary in the past. After the Meiji Period, the area became a residential area, and prior to World War II, it was one of the areas open to foreign-born property owners.

Today, Kabukicho is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the world. The district is easily accessible via several major railway and subway stations, including Seibu Shinjuku Station.
